Job description:

General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)

 

Reporting to the Data Management Coordinator the HRIS Officer serves as the front-line administrator and internal contact for the HCM system and supports the data processing function for the Human Resources Department, including entering, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive HRIS data.

 

In addition, the HRIS Officer is responsible for maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes, general maintenance of the HRIS database, preparing ad-hoc/scheduled reports and serving as a resource for process-improvement tasks and special projects.

 

Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT systems or related field.
  • Experience in Workday HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation, EIB processes
  • Excel analysis & data manipulation (Index/Match; Pivots; etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and legal requirements.
  • Superior problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and deduction skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Experience in Workday HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Excel analysis & data manipulation (Index/Match; Pivots; etc.)

 

Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables 

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across HR and other functions to provide technical support and quality assurance regarding all HR systems and tools, including Workday, Greenhouse, DocuSign
  • Provide expertise in multiple Workday modules, including but not limited to, Core HCM,  and Learning, modules.
  • Create report and dashboard solutions (Advanced, Matrix) within Workday and partner with stakeholders to optimize existing reports.
  • Troubleshoot errors, investigate problems, and provide general production support to Workday users and stakeholders; Configure, propose, and test resolutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality through process improvement and audits.
  • Perform bi-annual impact assessment for Workday releases; Make recommendations to appropriate HR leaders and lead the relevant testing/implementations.
  • Support future implementations, including but not limited to, requirements gathering, module implementation, and business process testing.
  • Identify and implement opportunities that increase efficiencies, reduce risk, and enable automation; Analyze data flow and recommend innovative solutions for process improvement.
  • Assist with stakeholder training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Assist and guide stakeholders with new processes/functionality.
  • Help drive consistent, standardized HRIS practices, documentation, processes, tools, and workflows across all lines of business.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit. Environmental Responsibilities

 

  • Comply with current environmental regulations in Panama
  • Comply with the commitments contained in the Environmental Impact Studies and other additional studies in this regard, which apply to your area and activities.
