Job description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Solution Design & Implementation
• Analyse and interpret business requirements to design optimal JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions.
• Configure and implement JDE Financials, Procurement, and Inventory Management solution aligned with business needs and best practices.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Evaluate and implement ancillary technologies that complement JD Edwards and enhance business capabilities.
• Ensure system configurations align with enterprise architecture, integration standards, and governance policies.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and one-on-one consultations to gather and refine business requirements.
• Collaborate with business process experts, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams to align system solutions with operational strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and optimization opportunities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and actionable recommendations.
3. Business Analysis & Documentation
• Develop, review, and maintain business requirements documentation, functional design specifications, and solution architecture documentation.
• Ensure all deliverables meet project governance and compliance requirements.
• Maintain configuration documentation and system design records to support system sustainability and knowledge transfer.
• Produce training materials, user guides, and process documentation to support end-user adoption and operational continuity.
4. Project Delivery & Governance
• Execute solution design and implementation activities in accordance with established project management methodologies.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and resource coordination.
• Ensure adherence to change management, testing, and deployment processes.
• Support testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
5. Training & Knowledge Transfer
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to business users and internal teams.
• Mentor junior analysts and functional consultants within the JD Edwards team.
• Promote best practices and standardization across enterprise JD Edwards implementations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation and configuration experience.
• Demonstrated experience working in structured ERP implementation projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of Financials, Procurement, and Inventory Management business processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Advanced knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional configuration and business process integration.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation and training material development skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work within a team of other JD Edwards experts.
• Knowledge of project methodologies, governance frameworks, and change management processes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience integrating JD Edwards with ancillary or third-party business systems.
• Exposure to enterprise-wide ERP standardization and optimization initiatives.
• Experience working in complex, multi-location, or global business environments.
